Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign 20 September 2007 Lydia Palaypay Hall, Nursing Building
In line with the commitment of the Tamaraw Volunteers’ Chamber for Health Services to address relevant health issues, this project aims to raise serious concern regarding the increasing incidence of breast cancer in our country through a health forum.
The health forum about breast cancer is a half day activity. Invited speakers from an invited NGO together with the Manila Health Department will share their expertise and their experiences in their battle against the said illness.

Fr. McDonagh is currently based at the Columban Fathers' headquarters
in Navan, Country Meath, Ireland. He has worked in the Philippines
for 20 years, mostly with the T'bolis of Mindanao. He is the author
of To Care for the Earth: A Call for A New Theology, The Greening of
the Church and Climate Change: The Challenge To Us All, his latest
book. In 2006, Fr. McDonagh became the first-ever recipient of a
doctoral degree in Philosophy from the Higher Education and Training
Awards Council (HETAC) of Ireland by a public examination of his
45-minute lecture on the development of his ecological theology, which
he defended viva voce. He is also the co-founder of Lingkod
Tao-Kalikasan, an organization advocating against genetically-modified
organisms.
